The Chamber hosts Business After Hours every other month at various locations throughout Marlboro County and are typically held at the sponsor’s place of business.
Tips for Hosting A Successful Business After Hours:
Invite people you do business with (distributors, financial affiliations, select customers, prospects, etc.)
Select a date at least 2-3 months in advance enabling website exposure, and more time to promote the event.
Determine food and beverage. Several fellow Chamber members cater – be sure to check with them first.
Obtain and advertise door prizes
If your office/facility is not suitable, consider the Chamber office as your event location.
Provide promotional products, i.e. pencils, pens at event.
Take advantage of your Chamber membership to send chamber members personal invitations.
Attend prior Chamber events to self-promote your upcoming chamber event.
Consider another compatible chamber business to co-host event with.
Continue an open line of communication with the Chamber so that we may best support your event. Your successful event is our success!
